Sean Taylor Sean trained at Bournemouth College of Art, after which he established himself in the graphics industry. His designs and illustrations have been commissioned by national companies and organisations. Sean is half Irish, and has spent most of his life by the coast in Hampshire. His love of boating and beach life is reflected in his colourful paintings which have developed over thirty years. Subjects manifest themselves from harbour and boating scenes which are sketched and presented in oils or acrylic in his South Coast studio. Time spent in Cornwall and the Mediterranean has also been an influence and source of inspiration. Sunlight reflected by the sea produces the intense colours which are a feature of Sean’s work. Sean has successfully exhibited his paintings in Hampshire and London. |
