Biography – Lionel Percy Smythe
He was a landscape and rustic genre painter. He studies at the Heatherleys Art School. He lived in London from 1880 and Chateau d’Honvault, par Wimple, Pas de Calais, France from 1894.
Lionel Smythe was W.L.Wyllie’s Stepbrother and encouraged him with his etchings in the early days.
