Biography – Marcel Dyf

Marcel Dry (Dreyfus), a post impressionist, was born in Paris in 1899. He spent his younger years in Normandy where he gained his love for the sea and sky. During his early working life he travelled to Morocco and decided to dedicate his life to art and moved to Arles in Provence. Marcel Dyf exhibited at The Petrides Gallery in Paris before moving to Arles and then St. Paul de Vence.

He married Claudine in 1954 and then returned to live in Paris and exhibited in London, Paris Salons and the French Riviera.
